At one time I had a beautiful glass ball ornament in my garden:

Unbelievable. And what would they want with it? No gardener who would actually use it would take it.
I don't know -- maybe I should check eBay and see if it's there. Either that or someone kid in the neighborhood has a nice ornament for his room.
That's awfully bold, walking up into your yard and taking something as big and bright as a gazing ball. Are you sure the cats don't have it stowed somewhere?
