She has a huge garden and goats and chickens so it was possible. Talk about good goat cheese. She and I are also members of the Heath Gourmet Club - 26 years of serving ourselves - and we have prided ourselves on all the local products right from our own little rural town, milk, butter, eggs, chickens, pork, apples, blueberries, dozens of vegetables, raspberries, dozens of herbs. Local means delicious.Commonweederhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10913336590036045901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22370555.post-44053662472913898592007-12-30T11:27:00.000-08:002007-12-30T11:27:00.000-08:00I like the idea of doing all we can, and I do. I have three kids in sports, but I try to only go once a week to the store and to eat what is in season. In the summer, I use the farmer's market. Slow but steady. I'm a turtle I guess. The Divahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13640870056010190961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22370555.post-90903986875411335522007-12-29T20:49:00.000-08:002007-12-29T20:49:00.000-08:00I agree...every little bit helps. I've never been ...I agree...every little bit helps. I've never been into these either/or arguments. Nor do I understand the idea that if one can't be perfect, there's no point in trying. I'm more an advocate of slow but continuous improvement.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
